As the Labor party prepares for party leadership elections, Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai signals he may enter the race.

Huldai, who has been serving in his current position for the past 17 years, is giving s consideration to running for the top slot in the political party. In an address during a city cultural event on Shabbos, the mayor told participants that he has received requests to compete in the Labor primaries and he is giving the requests serious consideration.
