Mrs. Adina Bar-Shalom, a daughter of Maran HaGaon HaRav Ovadia Yosef ZT�L, attend a Shas faction meeting. For years the meetings were attended by men only, MK, ministers and their aides. Now, Mrs. Bar-Shalom will attend a meeting once monthly.
The meeting took place on Monday, 19 Tammuz. Mrs. Bar-Shalom reported on the activities of chareidi women. Her address was preceded by an official welcoming from party leader Aryeh Deri. Deri praised the party�s women�s council and their efforts on behalf of Shas. The women�s division is headed by Deri�s wife, Mrs. Yafeh Deri and Mrs. Bar-Shalom. The names of the other members of the council have not been released.
