Bochrim of the Boyan Chassidus attending summer camp in Eretz Yisrael in Migdal HaEmek were sent home on erev Shabbos Parshas Eikev ahead of schedule. Camp directors were instructed by the Rebbe Shlita to send the boys home due to the continued unseasonably hot temperatures.

Amid forecasts for a sweltering erev Shabbos afternoon, Shabbos and Sunday, the rebbe reportedly decided to instruct closing camp early to keep the bochrim safe and indoors.

The rebbe is quoted explaining he views the heatwave as presenting significant risk to one’s well-being and amid reports of injuries and R”L deaths from the heatwave during the week, he decided to cut camp short despite the loss of revenue as the rebbe feels the well-being of all concerned is far more important than all other considerations.
