The Moetzas Gedolei Yisrael of the Agudas Yisrael is set to convene on Wednesday, 11 Elul to discuss the worrisome increase in chilul Shabbos in Yerushalayim. The admorim will hear reports and recommendations from leaders of the Kedushas Shabbos battle as what action is to be authorized in the continued struggle to preventing widening chilul Shabbos in the holy city.
Agudas Yisrael Jerusalem Councilmen last week met with the Belzer Rebbe Shlita and the Slonim Rebbe Shlita to discuss the situation with them. A number of the admorim were abroad and now that they have returned the Torah council can convene.
