MK Avigdor Lieberman: PM Netanyahu Must Ask Forgiveness And Resign

bilieAs the deteriorating security situation in Yerushalayim and elsewhere maintain a prominent place in the daily local media, Yisrael Beitenu party leader MK Avigdor Lieberman has some advice for Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. “He should ask forgiveness from Israeli citizens in general, and his voters in particular for his false promises that he spread about maintaining security and the economy. After asking forgiveness it would be fitting for him to resign”.

In his attacking post to Facebook, the former foreign minister does not hide his true feelings. “When a Jew is murdered on erev Rosh Hashanah in Jerusalem, there are riots on Har Habayis before yomtov, after yomtov they deploy an Iron Dome in Ashdod for fear of terrorist retaliation from Gaza following the arrest of Muhmad Alaan, and after a second consecutive month of economic decline, the failures are a call between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur to ask the prime minister where has our security and money gone?”

  1. Not newsworthy. That’s what the opposition is supposed to say.

It is news when the opposition praises the Prime Minister, or a member of the coalition calls for his resignation.

  2. You can throw the daily attacks at Har Hazeisim as well.
Leiberman has a good point. Instead of Bibi & Co constantly apologizing to the Arab enemy, he should look & apologize to his own people he has sworn to protect. The problem is Bibi & Co are petrified of the editorial board of the NY Times & the BBC, so without their permission, he wont do “what has to be done” to protect his fellow Jews.
