Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on motzei Shabbos 6 Tishrei met in secret with Yachad party leader Eli Yishai in the Prime Minister’s Residence. The meeting took place close to 22:00 in the Balfour Street residence.

No one is speaking about what was discussed as the meeting is the first known meeting between the two since the elections. Yachad failed to earn enough votes to enter the 20th Knesset. That said, Yishai has reportedly been maintaining his contacts and he is signaling he does plan to run again in the next Knesset elections.

During his tenure in previous Knessets as head of the Shas party, Yishai maintained very good relations with Prime Minister Netanyahu.
