Authorities say a massive fire ripped through a two-story home that was under construction in New York City.

The blaze broke out at about 7:30 p.m. Sunday at 68-66 112th Street near 69th Avenue in the Forest Hills / Rego Park section of Queens.

An FDNY spokesman says the fire quickly grew to three alarms and damaged two adjacent homes. Sources tell YWN that all three homes are Jewish-owned homes.

It took firefighters about an hour to control the blaze which caused a partial collapse of the home under construction.

Queens Hatzolah was on the scene along with FDNY EMS. Thankfully, there were no injuries reported.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation by FDNY Fire Marshals.
