Without fanfare, the first talmidim of the only chareidi hesder yeshiva are entering the military and they will serve in cyberwarfare and related units after years of limud and computer training. The program is run by Rav Dovid Bloch.

Rav Bloch explains that he is not certain what the definition of chareidi is. He states that if it means a high standard regarding one’s adherence to mitzvos and tznius, then they are chareidim but if one defines chareidi as doing everything one can to avoid IDF service, then they are not chareidim.
