Israel Names Yossi Cohen As New Head Of Mossad Spy Agency

mosIsrael’s prime minister has tapped National Security Adviser Yossi Cohen to head the Mossad intelligence service.

Benjamin Netanyahu announced the appointment on Monday. Cohen will replace Tamir Pardo, who leaves the post next month.

Cohen is a veteran Mossad agent who has served as deputy director. He also led Tzomet, the department that directs field agents.
