Records Broken! Coldest Day In 100 Years In NYC


coldA new record low temperature was set in Central Park this morning with the mercury dropping to 1 degree below zero at around 7:00AM.

Temperatures will be mostly in the single digits Sunday morning.

The peak of the arctic blast came Saturday night and will continue through noon Sunday, when wind chills could go as low as 10 to 20 degrees below zero.

Sunday: High 17 | Low 12 – Mostly sunny
Monday: High 36 | Low 35 – Late snowflakes
Tuesday: High 50 | Low 34 – Mix of snow turning to rain
Wednesday: High 44 | Low 26 – Bright and breezy
Thursday: High 37 | Low 26 – Sunny

The low of zero beat the record of 2 degrees set on this day in 1916.

  1. Give Obama credit. He’s keeping a campaign promise. And if Sanders or Bloomberg get, it will be an ice age (especially for frum Jews – think in terms of extending Obama’s war on religion to include attacking Orthodox Jews. We’ll be cold and persecuted.

    Now if you don’t want an ice age, vote Republican. The party that supports global warming (or at least doesn’t get too upset at the prospect of New Yorkers not having to go to Florida for warm weather).
