Israel�s National Student Council plans to close all public high schools on Tuesday and Wednesday, 25 and 26 Nissan, a protest against the ongoing strike by driving examiners and a slowdown by the Secondary School Teachers Association.

Regarding the driving examiners, that strike has been ongoing for about six weeks and road tests for students to get their driver�s license are cancelled as a result. Regarding the teachers� association, the latter has announced after Pesach it is stopping extracurricular activities which includes trips and outings.

The strike organizers explain that if by the end of Tuesday, a solution is not proposed, they will continue into Wednesday as planned.
