Shas officials expect over 10,000 girls to participate in a major event scheduled for Thursday, 2 Cheshvan in the Jerusalem arena. The event is intended for girls in the Shas education network to mark the third yahrzeit of HaGaon HaRav Ovadia Yosef ZT”L. The event is called “Maran, we are all your daughters” and most of the participants will be from the Bnei Yosef education network.

Organizers explain that due to space limitations, only the older grades will be permitted to participate.

Members of the Shas Moetzas Gedolei Torah are expected to participate as well as Rishon L’Tzion Rabbi Yitzchak Yosef Shlita.

Shas leader Aryeh Deri explains proudly that today, there are 57,000 girls in the education network, all followers of the derech taught by Maran.
