Newsweek Recalls Premature Hillary Clinton Issues After Donald Trump’s Shocking Win

Donald Trump officially stumped the world by winning the presidential election on Tuesday, November 8. The shock upset forced Newsweeks partner Topix Media Lab to issue a statement on Wednesday, November 9, recalling the magazines premature copies which had a cover celebrating Hillary Clintons presidency.

The magazine explained via Twitter ahead of the polls that two special edition covers for the 2016 election outcomes were produced by a Newsweek licensee, Topix Media ahead of the unpredicted poll results.

The company — like the rest of the world — anticipated that Clinton would take office and shipped Clintons Madam President cover to stores early instead of Trumps issue.

Like everybody else, we got it wrong, Tony Romando, CEO of Topix Media Lab, told the New York Post on Wednesday.

According to the site, the company is now rushing to print Trumps cover.

  1. They got it wrong “like everybody else” who WANTED to get it wrong.
Fishful stinking about “catching one this big” doesn’t equal a real sea food dinner.
