Shas party leader Minister Aryeh Deri is among the chareidi elected officials smiling the day after the US presidential elections.

Speaking at a non-political event, Deri said the Jews of Israel should thank HKBH for Trump�s election, adding that it is still too early to understand the full ramifications of the vote. However, Deri is confident the election of Mr. Trump is a blow to the Reform Jews, who by-and-large are affiliated with the left-wing democrats.

In his comments regarding the Reform Movement, Mr. Deri blames the leaders of trying to destroy Yiddishkheit in Israel and he hopes this blow to the Reform �will permit us to continue in the path of the heritage and minhagim of Am Yisrael�.

He added many have commented that if Trump wins it signs Moshiach is on the way, adding �We are truly in the era of Moshiach� and daven that events will work for the good of Am Yisrael.
