The Kulanu Party Is Likely To Block The Regulation Bill


KahlonFinance Minister Moshe Kahlon on Tuesday afternoon 14 Cheshvan attended a media event in Eilat during which he was asked about the proposed state budget. He told reporters that as he said in the past, he was not going to release anything over the current proposed budget and he has informed Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu of this.

The Kulanu party leader was asked about a number of matters, including the Regulation Bill which seeks to retroactively legalizing Amona. This bill is scheduled to be voted upon in Knesset on Wednesday, 15 Cheshvan.

Kahlon stated he and his colleagues in Kulanu will not contribute to a process that is harmful to the High Court of Justice. He added he plans to speak with Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit to determine if the bill is harmful to the court, and if this is the case, he and his party will oppose it. “Likud would like to make us their Shabbos goy or on-call leftists” Kahlon stated.
