Until today, passengers traveling from the capital to Ben-Gurion International Airport took a bus to Airport City and then had to change to another bus, with the latter taking passengers to the airport.
Beginning on Monday 17 Shevat, the Afikim Bus Company will launch its new direct service between Jerusalem and the airport. The new bus number is 485 and it is scheduled to run once an hour to and from the airport 24/6.
It will stop on erev Shabbos at 2:00PM and begin on motzei Shabbos at 7:00PM. The fare is NIS 16.

Does the bus allow for luggage , or just passengers with small carry’ons?
