Baltimore Police Commissioner To Meet With Jewish Community Following Hate Crimes

The following message was sent to YWN by Baltimore Shomrim:

As you all know our community was hit with hate crime(s) this past week. The Police Commissioner is coming to address the crimes and the general security of our neighborhood this Wednesday evening at the Public Safety Training Facility located on Northern Parkway (7 pm).

(Please note location of meeting changed from Tov Pizza due to large community interest in this meeting.)

This meeting has been arranged by Shomrim leadership.

A strong attendance is required to demonstrate we are taking this situation and our community’s safety seriously. This type of crime is as personal as it gets! We can’t expect the Police or elected officials to take this more seriously than we do.

Please make sure to attend.
