NJ: Hundreds Without Power after Saturday’s Storm


Hundreds of households in New Jersey are still without power this morning following Saturday night’s storm, which blew through the region, bringing heavy rain and strong winds.

PSE&G is reporting 960 customers without power, according to NJ.com.

JCP&L is reporting scattered outages, about 330 in the northern region and around 100 in the central region.

Those numbers are down dramatically from more than 12,000 customers in the dark late Saturday night.

Between 1 and 1-1/2 inches of rain fell on the state Saturday night, with wind gusts reported between 25 and 30 mph.
