Lieberman Buries Territorial Plan for Gazans

With Israel under fire once again, Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman on Monday, 18 Adar 5772 announced the warfare has buried any chance of negotiating a territorial contiguity between Gaza, Yehuda and Shomron as the PA (Palestinian Authority) would like to see sometime in the future.

Lieberman explained that the terrorist entity in Gaza poses a security risk to Israel and therefore, permitting Gazans access to PA autonomous areas is contrary to Israel’s security and defense interests and therefore a nonstarter.

Speaking during a ceremony marking the 20th anniversary of the deadly terror attack in Argentina, Lieberman explained that “for as long as Hamas, the arm of Iran rules over Gaza, there cannot be any talk of any passage from Gaza. It appears the Palestinians have decreed isolation upon themselves for generations”.
