Soldiers Uninjured in Attack Along Egyptian Border


IDF soldiers patrolling the Egyptian border on Tuesday, 4 Nissan 5772 detected two men riding an ATV near the border, on the Israeli side. Simultaneously, they spotted two others heading towards the border, from the Egyptian side. When the four failed to comply with instructions to halt soldiers implemented standard protocol for suspicious person, ultimately firing at their legs. Three of the four suspects returned fire.

At least one of them was hit. The soldiers escaped injuries B’chasdei Hashem. The fourth suspect fled. About an hour later soldiers came under fire again. They killed two people with their return fire. Once again, the soldiers were uninjured.
