Police report on Tuesday morning, 2 Iyar 5772 that a taxi driver in Kfar Saba was stabbed by an Arab fare(s). The driver, in his 30s, was driving his fare when he suddenly attacked him without provocation on Ben-Yehuda Street, stabbing him multiple times. The victim was transported to Meir Hospital, listed in moderate-to-serious condition.
The driver picked up the fare(s) from a hotel and headed to Taibeh. When attacked he called the dispatcher for assistance, telling him �they stabbed me�. No money was stolen in the incident.
Preliminary evidence in the case points to a terrorist attack. The attacker is in custody.
