With the return of summer, the �night lines� operating in major cities will resume on Thursday night, the eve of 9 Tammuz 5772, running until 04:00 in most cases.

Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz made the announcement, adding he plans to expand the project which is meant to provide a safe means of transport for those wishing to take advantage of city nightlife. Katz hopes to extend the program to 55 cities and entertainment centers.
