PHOTOS: Israel: Pistol Found In Routine Car Stop

(PHOTOS IN EXTENDED ARTICLE)

Israel Traffic Police on Sunday morning took part in an enforcement operation targeting violations that place other motorists in life-threatening danger. The operation took place in northern Israel near the Israeli Arab municipality of Um el-Fahm.

In one routine car stop, the driver was asked to see the driver’s license. The driver opened the glove box and the policeman saw a pistol. He took the appropriate measures and then arrested the driver after learning the FN pistol is not licensed as was the case with the ammunition. The driver is a northern district resident in his 20s and is now in custody.
