Police working with rescue personnel pulled a 70-year-old out of this SUV after they entered the area, believing it was passable. Also extricated was his grandchildren, 10 and 12-years-old. They were transported to a hospital with signs of hypothermia in a non-serious condition.

Elyakhin is located south of Hadera and bordering the Emek Chefer Regional Council.
