Daughter Of A Senior Neturei Karta Figure Detained At Ben-Gurion Airport

A young married woman and her six-month-old son were detained by police at Ben-Gurion International Airport on Monday, 28 Teves. The young married woman was threatened that she would be turned over to IDF authorities, as she is listed as never reporting for her military service.

The young lady is the daughter of Rabbi Mordechai (Motel) Hirsch, among the leaders of Neturei Karta. She has been living in London since her chasenah and she arrived in Israel for a family simcha. When she was run through the computer upon entering, her name was flagged as wanted by military authorities as she is absent without leave. She was held for about an hour and released, permitting to go on her way.

When the news got out of her detention, efforts began immediately to bring the tzibur out in protest in the streets, but the move was not necessitated.

  1. Lady, whomever you are, if u are a citizen of Israel, follow the law & apply for exemption due to a religious lifestyle. Every country has rules & regulations that need to be followed or arrest will incur.

    Decide what u prefer!!!

  2. their family serves in the armies of our enemies and aids both PLO and Iran, so they get credit for military service to our enemies.
