According to multiple reports coming out of various Arabic media outlets, Israeli Jets reportedly struck a number of Hezbollah position on the Syrian-Lebanese border on Sunday night. Neither Hezbollah�nor the Israeli Air Force have confirmed such reports.
According to the media reports, the sites were located near the Lebanese town of Baalbek which is located in the central-north part of the country near the border with Syria.
While a Hezbollah statement denied the attacks, a spokesperson with the IDF spokesperson’s unit said that she was aware of the reports in Arabic media, but would not comment further.
According to one Lebanese website,�al-Jadeed news, the loud sounds that were heard by residents were not explosions, but Israeli jets breaking the sound barrier.
