Korban Pesach Suspects Released From Custody

Suspects taken into custody for their annual bringing of a Korban Pesach hours before Yomtov were released ahead of Pesach by the Jerusalem Magistrate Court.

Justice Shalom Eitan Cohen rejected a police request to distance the suspects from Jerusalem�s Old City and the Muslim Quarter. He released the suspects, some of whom are minors, on bail. They were arrested of attempting to bring a Korban Pesach near Har Habayis.

Honenu attorney Rechavia Filtz stated lamented police�s eagerness to limit the actions of Jews in the Old City, suggesting their better use their limited resources to combat crime and terror.
