Ramadan Shalah, 60, the leader of the Islamic Jihad in Gaza, is reportedly comatose after suffering a major stroke. According to the reports from Lebanon, the terrorist commander has been in a coma for a number of weeks and he remains in Al-Rassould Azzam Hospital in Beirut.
Salah reportedly suffered the stroke(s) in Syria and was moved to the Lebanese hospital at the behest of Hizbullah leaders.
The PA (Palestinian Authority) versions of events states hthat Shalah was poisoned, of course suspecting the Mossad. This is based on a memorandum sent by the PA Mission in Beirut to PA leaders in Ramallah. Islamic Jihad officials reject the PA theory, insisting Shalah suffered strokes.
