Eida Chareidis Clarifies Kashrus In Meron For Lag B’Omer

While many vendors may claim to have one kashrus or another, and this is true year-round, the Eida Chareidi has publicized a list of places under its supervision in Meron during Lag B’Omer 5778.

The notification stresses the hashgacha pertains to Lag B’Omer only, not year-round. The notification covers establishments in Tzfat, Meron, Tiveria and Haifa.

The notice clearly states that any claims to be under the Eida hashgacha other than these businesses are not legitimate, and one should always be certain to check for a valid teudat kashrus year-round.

  1. ” a valid teudat kashrus year-round.” It’s “Teudas Kashrus” (The way Eida Hachareidis pronounces it) or “Teudat Kashruth” not “teudat kashrus”
