Toeiva Community Holds Massive Rally On Tisha B’Av, Calling To Amend Surrogacy Law R”L

The surrogacy law approved by the Knesset threatens to cause a storm in this coalition after a massive demonstration with approximately 100,000 people was held on Motzei Tisha B’Av by the Toeiva community in Rabin Square in Tel Aviv. Other protests were held in various cities, including Jerusalem, during Tisha B’Av. One was held outside the Prime Minister’s Residence.

The proposed law would permit a woman to act as a surrogate for any couple, not just legally married couples. The changes would allow surrogacy for same-gender couples and those whose marriage is not recognized by the Chief Rabbinate of Israel.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, in a video distributed on social media, expressed support for the initiative, but backed down after Deputy Minister Yaakov Litzman threatened to topple the government if he voted for it. Netanyahu also told representatives of the Toeiva community that he will meet with them in the coming days for clarification and reconciliation, clearly showing signs of feeling the pressure of the mounting nationwide protests and increased vocal support for the community among citizens and elected officials alike.

Sources close to the prime minister were angry at Litzman, as this caused a confrontation with some of the Likud members who wanted to support the initiative, but in the end, Netanyahu chose to vote against it with another promise to vote otherwise when the wording is amended.

Now these organizations are increasing their threats and claiming that the real culprit is Litzman. Gal Ochovsky, one of the leaders of the Toeiva community, was interviewed by the Galei Tzahal (Army Radio), stating, “We are fighting against Litzman.”

Ochovsky threatened that if necessary next year they will also march in Bnei Brak. “Netanyahu himself is not against us, but the chareidim are the ones who drive him,” Ochovsky claimed.

  1. The sad part is that there are people who know in their heart that these people are wrong, but are scared to stand up to them.

  2. Ah Yid, are you a mindreader or something? Your post is incredulous. It’s a pity that Israelis will find any excuse to discriminate against someone who isn’t their kind of Jew.

  3. If satmar can have an anti Israel rally on tisha bav , they why can the toevaniks have thiers?
    Its a 2 way street.

  4. These people must be rehabilitated, imprisoned or housed in mental institutions where they belong. Toeivas are mentally ill. These are people who prefer fantasies that they see in movies or TV or internet. Very few are born adroigenes. No one is born Queer. They are all a bunch of perverts or mental cases.

  5. In all fairness, Tisha B’Av is a commemoration of “their” team’s greatest victory in their war against frumkeit. It is quite reasonable they should be celebrating. “Tisha B’Av” is the date of a great hiloni triumph, and Israel is the hiloni’s country.

  6. There is no such thing as a toeva “community”. They have no community – just nightclubs and brothels, r”l. May the Jews among them make teshuva speedily and the Erev Rav and goyim leave the holy land for some depraved place on Europe.

  7. To Amil Zola For many years these people did their immoral behavior in their bedroom, bad enough, but at least no one knew about it. Fast forward to 2018, and these people advocate that 2 men should be parents G-d forbid. In NYC they want to make 3 choices on the birth certificate, male, female, undecided. Bathrooms have to be neutral and worse if you decide you’re a female you have the perfect right to enter the female locker room. The world has gone mad and you support this? It is no wonder that in Noach’s times he couldn’t find anyone to join him in the Taiva. They couldn’t decide if they were male or female. Perhaps that’s why they attacked Noach since he did enter as male and female.

  8. So if they want to go out to protest then the frum people should also go out and protest against it. Why could they rally and us not? That country is just a disaster too bad on holy tzadikim buried there, too much tumah and toevah going on.

Drug commish. I have to disagree with you regarding people not being born queer.
Just look in your mirror next time you adjust your tephillin or adjust your hat and you will see a certified queer and maybe an androyginis too. Its not your fault, its an illnes.

  10. Why didn’t the chardei extermists go and hold a counter demonstration in Tel-Aviv on Tisha B’Av?
I’m sure most of them don’t fast anyways. And it’s not like they had anything else to do on Sunday.

  11. Takes2-2tango,
When you don’t have a decent response to a statement then you just make fun and call names. Very intelligent response. By the way, do you happen to be related to Maxine Waters?

  12. @Amil Zola- A kind of Jew?? Seriously? Are murderers, rapists, pedophiles, and adulterers a kind of Jew, too? What Torah do you have?

  13. Where are all the other Chareidi & Dati Leumi MK’s? Where are the Arab MK’s?
Btw, did these 100,000 sinners serve in the IDF? If yes, do we really want our children serving along side them in close quarters?

  14. I’m sure you also refer to Lakewood as the “Toeiva Community” as it is so completely rife with the “abomination” of monetary impropriety. Just sayin’
