Man Killed in Criminal Drive By Shooting in Kiryat Yam


A 30-year-old man was critically injured after he was shot in a shot-and-run incident in Kiryat Yam in northern Israel on Wednesday. Emergency medical service personnel from United Hatzalah and Magen David Adom performed CPR on the man and transported him to the Rambam Medical Center in Haifa for treatment. Sometime later, Doctors at Rambam were forced to pronounce the man’s death.

United Hatzalah volunteer EMT Liran Krispin who was one of the first responders at the scene said: Together with the United Hatzalah ambulance team, I performed CPR on the victim, who was in his thirties and suffered gunshots wounds to his upper body. The man was transported by an intensive care ambulance to the hospital while he was still undergoing CPR efforts.
