PA Chairman Abu Mazen Compares Yigal Amir’s Situation to Families of Terrorists

PA (Palestine Authority) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas spoke at the opening of a meeting of the PLO’s central council in Ramallah on Wednesday evening, referring to the assassin of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, Yigal Amir, when he claimed that he “takes vacations four times a week and receives salaries from four different factors. ”

Abu Mazen said this when he declared at the conference that he promised to continue to pay salaries to terrorists and their “martyrs” families who were killed while carrying out attacks in Israel. He said the PA would not allow Israel to deduct payments from tax revenues collected for Palestinians.

“Israel thinks that these are criminals, and that we should permit them and their families to starve,” said the PA chairman, “We will not accept this and will not allow Israel to do so. Even if we have to make significant cuts, we will continue to pay and support them.”

He claimed that convicted Jewish murderers also receive benefits and then noted that Yigal Amir, the assassin of Yitzhak Rabin, is also receiving financial aid.

The PA Chairman also attacked Hamas and said that “the organization has no real willingness to reconcile with Fatah,” despite the many efforts exerted by Egypt to mediate efforts and declared that the only solution is Hamas’ agreement to transfer control of the Gaza Strip to the PA. Full – one government, one weapon and no militias,” he said.

Abu Mazen promised to fight against US Present Donald Trump’s ‘deal of the century’. “We called it the ‘slap of the century,'” he said, “opposing the ‘deal of the century’ and the first to fight it was us and many joined us. We will continue to fight it until it falls, and the others lose. ”

He also called for opposing the Nationality Law: “We will discuss the ways to fight the racist law, which began in Israel with protests against it by Jews and Arabs, and a huge number of Jews felt that this position was dangerous and against it.”

One Response

  1. The topic is not about money that a terrorist gets. The topic is about terrorists being paid (by a “state player”) MORE money than (when all else is equal) non-terrorists get. Yigal Amir’s son will receive NO MORE money (by a “state player”) than (all else being equal) sons of other Israeli citizens receive.
