(Click HERE for photos) For the residents of Jerusalem’s Jabel Mukaber neighborhood, the answer is quite simple – Jerusalem Police did not provide adequate protection on Sunday night when angry Jewish protestors rioted in their neighborhood, resulting in significant property damage.
Hundreds of protestors marched towards the Jerusalem neighborhood, the home of the family of the Merkaz HaRav terrorist, demanding authorities raze the family home.
Police were present in small numbers, some 250-300 troops, and as a result, they were unable to stop the large crowd. Tens of youths managed to enter the outlying area of the predominately Arab neighborhood and began rioting, destroying cars and hurling stones at home windows.
Villagers told reporters on Monday night they feared for their lives and they are still afraid someone will attempt to perpetrate a revenge attack.
Police and border police troops are remaining in the area and police report that for the time being, security around Jabel Mukaber will remain high.
On Monday, police extended the remand of a number of youths taken into custody during the rioting, indicating they will face criminal indictments for their actions.

Says who ? where ? its called pikuach nefesh..theres a whole sefer of halachot “goyim b’eretz yisrael” they dont even have ger toshav status.. they are a enemy nation.
Out of curiosity, why do they not have ger toshav status? According to one shita, all one needs to do to be a ger toshav is to not worship Avoda Zara, which Muslims are in compliance with.
I agree with Ms. EstiG. (that in any event), these Arabs, presumably, had nothing to do with the particular savage who murdered the kedoshim in YMH, so what is the basis for permitting them to be harrassed? It’s one thing if fellow Arabs encourage and/or assist in even planning a terror attack; but if they are simply minding their own business how can you justify bothering them?
