Delta Airlines Announces Two Flights Daily From Tel Aviv To JFK In 2019


In the summer of 2019, Delta Air Lines will double its operations from Ben-Gurion Airport to New York’s JFK International Airport. As of June 17, 2019, Delta will offer 2 flights a day, adding more than 4,000 seats each week on flights on the Tel Aviv-New York-Tel Aviv route.

The additional daily flight will be scheduled for a day flight departing from Tel Aviv, in additional to the current daily flight, which takes off at night and will provide additional choice for customers. Both flights operate on an A330-300 aircraft with a capacity of 293 seats. Delta recently upgraded its class meal service on a Tel Aviv New York flight and now provides a “restaurant-style meal” with a menu and a full range of drinks to choose from.

“Israel has a strong historical and commercial connection with the US, and these ties have been a supportive and stimulating factor for the expansion of our service. This includes investments by Israel and Israelis in the US, in the amount of $24 billion, according to data from the US Embassy in Israel, “said Roberto Loriatti, Delta’s vice president for transatlantic flights. Customers have the opportunity to get to know the Big Apple and enjoy convenient flights to more than 50 destinations in the US.

All large-bodied Delta aircraft operating on international flights can enjoy a direct Internet connection of 30,000 feet via Wi-Fi (paid) and send text messages from the plane via phone for free – via iMessage, Facebook and Messenger.

Delta One passengers also enjoy a product system of the prestigious Tumi Company, which includes, among others: hand and body lotion, lip conditioner, socks, eye coverings, etc. in addition, there is a seasonal menu and the possibility to pre-order meals on flights from New York to Tel Aviv.
