Parents on Monday morning, 23 Elul, were pleased to hear the strike impacting daycare centers nationwide has ended as the side reached agreement, and the little ones may return to their respective daycare centers around the country.

As part of the agreement, fulltime employees will receive an additional NIS 1,500 to their Rosh Hashanah and Pesach bonuses.

As a result of the strike, 1,400 daycare centers nationwide remain closed, including affiliations with Beis Yaakov, Na’amat, WIZO, Emunah and dozens of other institutions employing over 10,000 people.
