A northern Israel Police spokesman on Thursday, 26 Elul, reports that during the late hours Wednesday night, on HaMaginim Street in Tiveria, a 16-year-old girl was attacked by a number of religious males because she was “immodestly dressed”, wearing an undershirt.

The report states they shouted at her about her unacceptable attire, and then approached her and began hitting her. Police were summoned, and they searched the area for the attackers.

An investigation has been launched as police search for the attackers.
