IDF Soldier Attacked By Fanatics As He Heads To Kaporos In Meah Shearim

Once again, Meah Shearim is in the news, however, not for all its good qualities, but due to the actions of the Sikrikim, who seem to have overrun the community, instilling fear in the veteran residents and the elderly, as they dare not speak out against these fanatics.

In their latest Chilul Hashem, several dozen hoodlums attacked an IDF soldier on Sunday, 7 Tishrei, as he entered the neighborhood to perform kaporos before Yom Kippur. No injuries were reported.

  1. These sikrikim ought to be locked up in jail and be forced to read out loud the entire unesaneh tokef !

Just like these tzedka orgs. who make robo calls screaming in your ear ” mee yichyeh umee yamus!!
Making a mockery of teshuva , tefilla utzdakah.

  2. vus hakst di a tchainik?? old and elderly?? bring me just one veteran and elderly yerushalmy that doesn’t support what their eineklach are doing and i`ll make a broche meshane habrios!!! Let me just remind you, neturei karta isnt a new invention, (theyre just about as old as when the zionists started having strong influence in the holy land), and before these youngsters got to to work pelting eggs who do you think was there??? (hint hint: maase avos siman libonim)

  3. I think the people who caused this are mishiguim but I am sorry the soldier who went into Meah Shearim asked for it. What is he, stupid? What did he expect?

Again, to make it clear, the trouble makers are wackos and deserve petch .

  4. daass torah, Neturei Karta was about ahavas yisroel, not attacking yidden. They protested peacefully when something wrong was done; you never saw Rav Amrom z”l throwing stones or allowing anyone else to do so. They would certainly not attack a yid who wants to do a mitzvah, just because he disagrees with their shitah. This hooliganism is a new thing.
