Incendiary Balloon Launched From Gaza Lands Near A Sderot Apartment

A Lachish district police spokesman on Tuesday afternoon, 1 Rosh Chodesh Marcheshvan, reports that an incendiary balloon was detected near a Sderot apartment building and police sealed off the area until bomb squad technicians could arrive on the scene.

The police call on the public to exercise extreme caution with regard to such suspicious objects – kites and balloons, which may contain explosives and/or flammable materials that may endanger public safety.

In every location pertaining to a suspicious object, it is necessary to report to the police and to distance oneself and others from the suspicious object and permit police to handle it.

Clearly the incendiary balloons are coming from Gaza, on a daily basis, and there is an increasingly audible call to decision-makers to order the IDF into Gaza to bring an end to the Hamas attacks once and for all.
