Regarding the release of information of a drug-smuggling ring involving a career IDF non-commissioned officer, the reality of the drug operation is more serious than the sale of drugs for profit.

Hizbullah remains committed to Israel�s destruction, and as such, is using any method at its disposal to inflict pain, harm and loss on the Israeli population.

The drug ring is one splendid example, a reality that brings enormous profits to the terrorist organization, while spreading the use of heroine and other drugs among Israelis, both in the military and among civilian populations, resulting in a win-win situation for the terror organization.

Drug smuggling from Lebanon into Israel is not a new entity, as is the case from Sinai into the southern areas, due to the lucrative nature of the business but in addition, at least in the case of Lebanon; it is serving the terror organization�s agenda of inflicting pain on Israel.
