The Efrat branch of the Israel Dog Unit, under the command of Micha Katz, continues to secure with specially trained patrol dogs the Eitam Farm, which was founded in memory of Ari Fuld HY”D who was brutally murdered last month. The Eitam Farm is located several miles from Efrat. This week new roads were constructed that enable cars to reach the farm.

The IDU dispatched a mobile caravan command center (Chapak) to the hill to provide enclosed sleeping quarters for the IDU guards and the dogs, as winter arrives and G-d willing rain is expected soon. The Israel Dog Unit has thwarted many terrorist attacks in Israel and provides security dogs and trains guards to defend towns throughout Yehuda and Shomron.
