The winner in the Telshe Stone municipal election was Yitzchak Ravitz of Degel Hatorah, as expected would be the case, receiving 60% of the vote. Yanki Paley challenged Ravitz in the race as an independent candidate.

2253 residents voted, representing a 70% voter turnout. The polls were open from 7:00AM to 10:00PM.

A new election was called after the sudden petira of the city’s mayor, Avraham Rosenthal z”l.
