On January 27, 2019, police detained a 16-year-old female on suspicion of a graffiti attack in a Netanya shul.
The attack was against the shul on McDonald Street in Netanya, and when police forensic technicians operated on the scene, they found an item of underwear in a bag. They also discovered that Sifrei Kodesh were set afire.
The investigation led police to the suspect, apparently from the item found in the bag.
The suspect was released on bail, with restrictions, including a five-day house arrest. The probe continues.
