Police Find 2-Year-Old Left Behind in a East Jerusalem Park

Police on Thursday morning, February 14, 2019, were operating in the Arab community of Silwan, in East Jerusalem. They were surprised to find a 2-year-old girl alone near a police position, in a small park in that area.

An officer began playing with her and she was given some sweets as efforts were underway to locate her parents.

The mother of the child was found, and she was unaware the little one left the house and headed for the playground, undetected. The mom hurriedly headed to the police post to get her daughter, who was in the good care of police in the area.
