Avreichim Rush Children in Cribs Out of Daycare Away From Bnei Brak Fire

A fire broke out in a building next to a daycare on Yehuda Halevi Street in Bnei Brak on Tuesday. Thankfully, no one was injured.

Residents who live and study near the location of the blaze together with local Avreichim and teams from United Hatzalah, Magen David Adom, the Fire Department, and the police, rushed to rescue and evacuate children from the daycare, many of whom were carried in their cribs right out of the building.

One eye-witness to the incident told BeChadrei Charedim that he heard screaming as he was heading to his car on a nearby street. “I was heading down to my car when all of a sudden I heard screaming. I saw smoke coming from a nearby building and daycare workers began rushing in and out to evacuate children from the daycare. I ran in and saw children sleeping on beds and in their cribs. I began to help out with the evacuation and took them to the local health clinic across the street in their cribs.”
