Gadi Yarkoni, who heads the Eshkol Regional Council of communities situated in proximity to the Gaza border, stated that while the country is busy preparing for Knesset elections, the residence of Gaza border communities on the daily attack by balloon bombs, balloon incendiary devices, which are launched from Gaza.

He added that the government and the IDF succeeded in finding a technological solution to locating and destroying the terrorist tunnels, and now they’re using balloon bombs instead. The government and the IDF have yet to find a solution to the balloon bombs, which are terrorizing residents on a regular basis. These balloon bombs of instilling fear in the children and adults alike, and the solution must be found immediately.

These are the days ahead of the elections and we call on all Israelis, all citizens of the country, to insist that those people running for seats in Knesset must be able to provide a solution to provide security for the residents of Gaza border communities.
