Chareidi Motorcyclist R”L Killed On Jerusalem-Tel Aviv Highway


A chareidi motorcyclist, a resident of Bnei Brak, was R”L killed in a serious accident on the Jerusalem-Tel Aviv Highway during the night, )Tuesday to Wednesday). A passenger on the motorcycle was seriously injured.

The accident occurred near the Shar HaGuy Interchange as the driver lost control of his bike, for reasons that investigators hope to determine.

United Hatzalah EMTs on the scene did begin resuscitation efforts on the critically man, but unfortunately was eventually pronounced dead on the scene.

Moshe Teitelbaum, CEO of United Hatzalah, reported from the scene: “We are talking about two youths riding a motorcycle. One of them was killed and his friend was moderately to severely injured. After the initial treatment we gave him at the scene of the accident, he was evacuated to the intensive care unit to continue receiving medical treatment at the hospital in Jerusalem.”

Magen David Adom reported that MDA paramedics determined the death of a 19-year-old male and transported a 25-year-old male to Sheba Hospital at Tel Hashomer, in serious condition with massive trauma.
