Rav Yehuda Aryeh Roten Z”L, 57, a beloved melamed in Brachfeld, Modi’in Illit, collapsed in his home on Rabbi Akiva Street during the night and was R”L niftar.

As he was being transported his condition took a sharp turn for the worse and he went into cardiac arrest and CPR was started. He was Niftar shortly after.

His rebitzen (Esther Miriam) is a teacher as well, in the Kahane Seminary. She is a daughter of HaGaon Rav Ephraim Tzemel, one of the Roshei Yeshiva of Ohr Somayach and a brother-in-law of HaGaon HaRav Zikerman.

The niftar was a mechanech in Talmid Torah ‘Daas Zekeinim’ in Kiryat Sefer. He was a talmid of HaGaon HaRav Shmuel Auerbach ZT”L.

The levaya began on Wednesday morning at 10:00 AM from the niftar’s home at 15 Rabbi Akiva Street in Brachfeld to the segulah Cemetery in Petach Tikvah for kvura.
