An 80-year-old woman was struck and killed by a truck on David Raziel Blvd. in Ramle at about 9:30AM Wednesday morning, Remembrance Day in Israel.

MDA paramedics reported the woman sustained severe multisystem trauma and she was pronounced dead on the scene.

MDA paramedic Ophir Shish said: “When we arrived at the scene, we saw a woman of about 80, unconscious, with serious injuries to her lower body. We performed a number of medical tests, but unfortunately, she had no signs of life and we can only determine her death. ”
