A group of extremists from Yerushalayim on Monday night protested outside the home of the Biala Rebbe Shlita, the site of the meeting of the Moetzas Gedolei Torah of Agudas Yisroel, in protest against the Admorim deciding to accept the compromise in the draft bill initiated by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, as reported by YWN-Israel.

Mr. Netanyahu has been working to find a compromise what would be acceptable to both the chareidim and MK Avigdor Lieberman, who chairs the Yisrael Beitenu party. While the chareidim are on board, Lieberman remains tenacious in his refusal to permit any change to the format of the draft bill as it was formulated during his tenure as defense minister.

A small number of extremists took part in the protest, decrying the decision of the Admorim, who are willing to accept the prime minister’s compromise regarding the draft bill to avoid another round of Knesset elections.
