HaGaon HaRav Meir Mazuz Shlita, Rosh Yeshivat Kisei Rachamim speaks out against the mayor of Ramat Gan, Shema Cohen, who he labels a “rosha”, adding, “??? ????? ????? ?????? ?? ?????”.
During a shiur in bnei Brak, Rav Mazuz addressed the situation in Ramat Gan, as Mayor Shema Cohen is planning to begin running public buses on Shabbos.
“He thinks he is doing a great thing” Rav Mazuz stated in regard to Cohen, adding, “But his mother and father, his parents, and all the generations who kept Shabbos in Bagdad, know he is a ‘rosha blei’al’ and we will be afraid of him?” Rav Mazuz added that “thousands like him will vanish from the world and he will fight for this but at the end, he will be lying in the dust of the ground, woe to him, a person who thinks this world is what it is about”
Mayor Cohen is confident that the city council will this week pass the initiative to begin running public buses in the city on Shabbos.
